Installing the Web Electric Products Sequential Tailight Kit

Link to Manufacturers Page: http://www.webelectricproducts.com/products.htm

I bought this and installed it on our 99 coupe. The kit arrived in three days (very fast delivery for my neck of the woods) and was very well packed. The kit arrived in perfect condition.

Included in the kit were two sequential tailight harnesses, a tube of dielectric grease (silicone grease), several zip-ties, two "GROUND" labels, a comprehensive instruction set and even a Lifesaver mint! Here is a picture of the kit components laid out on the table:

Kit Components
Kit Installation
Remove the driver side (left) outer turn signal housing from the rear fascia using a t15 TORX screwdriver:
Install 1

Removing the turn signal housing will reveal the bulb socket. Press the locking tab with your thumb and rotate the bulb socket free from the housing
Install 2

Locate the black wire that goes into the bulb socket and attach the supplied GROUND label for reference. Make sure you put the label on the black ground wire!
Install 3

Remove the bulb and fill the OEM socket with the supplied dielectric grease as shown
Install 4

Insert the male end of the new "Left" harness, making sure the line up the GROUND label on the new harness with the black GROUND wire that you labeled in a prior step. This is important, as the instructions tell you to double check it several times.
Install 5

At this point, you have a harness that looks like the following:
Install 6

All that is left to do now is to zip-tie the harness, making sure the new harness is secured with the open end of the black "cup" pointing downward (to avoid having it collect moisture) .

Install the new harness into the tailight housing and then re-install the housing.

Repeat this operation on the right-side tailight and you are done!

I love this mod! It is very cool. Let's see how many folks notice it...
